Mexico has a national programme providing Ponseti treatment for children born with clubfoot called Plan Nacional Mexicano de Pie Equino Varo.
The national programme is run in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, NGO La Fundacion Mexicana de Pie Equino Varo and international NGO miraclefeet. Academic support is provided by Sociedad Mexicana de Ortopedia Pediatrica and the Ponseti International Association.
Foot abduction braces are produced in Mexico City.
