PIA International Clubfoot Symposium

An international clubfoot symposium will be hosted by the Ponseti International Association at the University of Iowa on the 4th and 5th October 2012, with pre-conference workshops on the 3rd October. Abstract submission is open until May 1st.

Ponseti method for clubfoot training in Sierra Leone
Prosthetics Outreach Foundation and CURE Clubfoot Worldwide are running a series of training courses this month (March 2012) to train health workers in the Ponseti technique for clubfoot in Sierra Leone.

Italian Group for the Protection and Promotion of the Ponseti Method joins GCI
The IGPPPM is the latest organisati0n to join GCI as an associate partner. Many thanks to Professor Gaetano Pagnotta for supplying information about their work.
IGPPPM (Italian Group for Promotion and Protection of Ponseti Method) was created 5 years ago to spread the Ponseti method in Italy and to defend the correct application of the method. IGPPPM collects data on the use of the Ponseti method throughout Italy and provides continuous supervision of new hospitals that claim to apply the method.
